Join April and her drum community on a journey exploring hand drums in their traditional setting, surrounded by untouched nature and 360 degrees of world-renowned Arizona desert landscape. Experience the healing benefits of the desert, local native culture and food, and brand new relationship to your drum as an instrument of music and lasting wellbeing.

Your 7-Day Experience includes:

  • 20 hours of training in the darbuka, frame drum and/or riqq (all levels) with certificate of completion
  • Meditation, qi gong and gentle yoga sessions
  • Visits to local immersive nature areas and desert landmarks
  • Cultural tours of local Native communities
  • Local food tours
  • Lodging with in-house organic chef, pool and hot tub (optional)
